Synopsis

What secrets do men hide behind their moustaches? Tails of Men explores the concept of masculinity within rural Hungary to reveal the ways in which men view themselves and their
identities. This distinctive documentary examines a range of men and their relationship with facial hair in order to ask the deeper question of what lies beyond the moustache. The film
provides an insight into Hungarian male culture to illustrate how appearance is a manifestation of our inner selves. Tails of Men deals with our perceptions of gender, identity
and relationships to investigate deeper beyond the surface image of masculinity.
