Born March 2, 1998, Cécile Piquemal was interested in directing since her early years in theater. She decided to enter film school after the Bac ES in 2017 at the age of 19. She chose to start her studies at 3is to enrich her film culture. Here, she reached the final year of fiction production where she directed Never too late!, the short film she worked on for over a year and a half. Today, her ambition is to write new screenplays and to do assistant directing at the same time.

Synopsis

In a nursing home, one elderly resident, Valere, wants
only to leave and return home. Jacqueline, a fellow
resident, has the door code he needs but hopes for his
friendship. Much to his dismay, she offers the code in
exchange for him joining her to a dance. This film
signifies the importance that it is never too late to try
something new and make connections that change how
you view the world.
