Synopsis

A young journalist suffering from insomnia is contracted to conduct an interview with a well-known artist at her home in the countryside. Their purely professional relationship turns into a bond as a thread of understanding develops between them when they find out that both are coping with loss and trauma. The secluded and at times intimate location is underlined by a meticulously observed visual style. Surrounded by nothing but the forest the two characters find a deep connection that neither expected.

  1. A well paced, slow burn of a film. The narrative is reflected well in the cinematography, with minimalism at its heart. The story of two people struggling with perhaps separate troubles, but finding mutual respect and commonality when brought together.
