Director’s Bio

Ferdinand grew up in Dresden and discovered his passion for Visual Storytelling and Animation while working with his sisters Annegret and Till. He animated their latest film Sealand. Oscar was born in Sweden and grew up in Switzerland. From 2011, he started an apprenticeship in graphic design and built a successful career as a freelancer before turning to animation. In 2018, Ferdinand and Oscar began studying animation in Ludwigsburg at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and fell in love with Stop-Motion.

Synopsis

In this dramatic yet heart-warming film, a man is thrust into a conflict he does not want to be a part of. Floating in the clouds in his hot air balloon is where he feels most at home and at peace with himself. From start to finish, In the Wind sweeps us away in a whirlwind of emotions.
