Karol Ulman is a Masters degree student at Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School, having previously worked as an editor. His films have been screened at a number of festivals and at the New Horizons Film Festival, he was awarded the Zuzanna Jagoda Kolska Prize. He is a previous recipient of the Paper Bird award for best Fiction, with his film, End of the World.


Synopsis
In the overstimulated existence of the modern world, we often seek solace in nature. The protagonist of There is No Peace of Mind decides to break free by undergoing a medical procedure that, if successful, will turn him into a fully functioning tree. But is he truly ready to find his peace?
