Tonight marks the first of our live screening and Q&A events, taking place at LJMUs Redmonds Building from 5:45 (doors open 5:30). We’re excited to screening this year’s full documentary programme, featuring fresh perspectives from across the globe, taking in countries such as Argentina, Iran, and Denmark. The films featured in our documentary strand engage with a variety of topics, from living with a terminal illness, to the role of sport in connecting with refugees.
After the screening has finished, we’ll be connecting with some of our featured documentary filmmakers who will be discussing their films, creative processes, and what draws them to the medium of documentary filmmaking.
