Karine Bille graduated from the Arts Décoratifs de Paris in 2023 with a degree in animation. Her work is influenced by issues such as feminism, immigration, homosexuality and the environment. Her interest in her origins and the cause of Arab-Muslim peoples is reflected in her first documentary film, “Ana Hora fi El Djazaïr (I am free in Algeria)”, selected and awarded at the Namur International Francophone Film Festival (FIFF) 2024

Synopsis

Welcome to a town just like any other. Here, there are apartment blocks and houses with gardens. Here, leaves coat the Autumn ground. Here, weeds grow impulsively through the available cracks… A little too much for some residents…
