Nelisa Alcalde is a Spanish born, UK-based cinematographer and graduate of FAMU Prague. She has worked both in the Czech film industry and in the UK as co-director on “Isabel’s Independence”, a mid-length documentary funded by BBC Scotland and the Scottish Documentary Institute. Nelisa is currently seeking creative directors to collaborate with on shooting and developing her own documentaries.

Synopsis

Honey Bunny Duracell is a dynamic and kinetic journey delving into the unyielding passion propelling three-time Czech boxing champion, Lenka Kardova, to the pinnacle of excellence. Shot on 35mm Kodak film, this is a visually arresting tribute to the power of self-belief and determination.
