Betül Benli was born in 1997 in Istanbul. Since 2019, she has participated in various film workshops and cinema events and worked at festivals. She graduated from the department of architecture in 2020. She worked as art director and cinematographer in various short films. She currently writes film reviews in FilmArası Magazine. Continuing to work on screenplays and producing films, Betül Benli is also pursuing her master’s degree in architecture and cinema.

Synopsis

Nasrin charts the journey of an Iranian woman, traversing the solitude of the desert to the vibrant chaos of a metropolis, offering an experimental vision of her connection to the world. Accompanied by Forugh Farrokhzad’s poem, ‘Reborn’, the film contemplates womanhood in the context of Iranian society.
