Director

Umi Aravena is a Film and Television student at the University of Chile. Within the area of fiction, she has had the opportunity to work on two feature films. The first as continuity manager in “CryBaby” (2021) and the second as production assistant in “La Santa” (2023). Both projects are in the post-production stage. In school short films, he did art direction and production in “Aurora y Jazmín” (2022) and direction and script in “Espacios vacíos” (2022). In documentary filmmaking, he served as director and scriptwriter in “La vida de alguien más” (2024).

Synopsis

Umi seeks to understand her parents when she was a toddler, through home footage lovingly and extensively recorded by her.
