Director

Jasper Tan is a filmmaker based in Quezon City, Philippines. Working on short films for almost 6 years, he went through a range of production roles such as Director, Writer, Producer, Director of Photography, Editor, and Production Assistant. Back in 2020, he and his friends started a student-led production company named “Uno Pelikula” which produced all of his works. Most of his films were able join multiple film festivals and exhibitions, notably FDCP’s Sine Sinta: Pag-ibig at Pelikula 2024, Gawad Sining Short Film Festival, Indonesian Student Media Awards 2023, CineMMediA Short Film Festival 2024, Roll, Cut, Playback! Season 2, and Puregold Cinepanalo 2025.

Synopsis

In a desolate morgue, an embalmer’s illicit hunger for the dead spirals into existential horror when he discovers his own corpse, confronting desire, identity and the collapsing boundary between life and death.
