Director

Mikel Garrido Linares is a Venezuelan director and cinematographer. He is a former scholarship student and currently a professor at the ¨Escuela Superior de Cine y Medios Audiovisuales de Cataluña¨ (ESCAC) in Spain. He worked in the cinematography team of projects selected for the 76th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, the 55th edition of the Sitges Film Festival and the 26th edition of the Malaga Film Festival. His award-winning graduation short film “Tenemos Patria” has won awards at the 56th Sitges International Film Festival, 20TH Venezuelan Film Festival and the 31 Etiuda&Anima International Film Festival. Concluding his educational stage, he is currently developing two feature film projects, “Bro” and “Turpial”.
