Submissions may have closed for the 2025 LJMU MA Short Film Festival, but that doesn’t mean that things are slowing down. We’ve got lots to come over the course of the next few months, when we’ll be introducing you to our MA students, our juries, and of course, the all important programme of films. This year we’ve received an astonishing number of entries from across the globe, from student filmmakers who’ll be competing for the coveted Paper Bird Awards, but more about this and much more will be revealed over the coming months…
Speaking of reveals, with the festive period fast approaching, we thought we’d treat you to a sneak peak of this year’s official LJMU MA Short Film Festival poster. As with previous iterations, the poster was designed and created by several of our current MA students, working under the guidance of multi-talented designer and LJMU MA Graduate, Alejandra Cardona-Mayorga.
