We gave you a sneak peek earlier this week, but now it’s time for the big reveal – it gives me great pleasure to reveal the official poster for the 2025 LJMU MA Short Film Festival! You can read more about the design process for the 5th edition poster below.
This year’s poster was designed and created by MA students Leo Manfrinato De Lima, Bridget Harvey, and Max Kenney, working under the guidance of graphic designer, artist, and LJMU MA Graduate, Alejandra Cardona-Mayorga. As with previous years, the post design brief was driven by a desire to take our existing core elements into a new direction. In previous iterations, we’ve explored the role of physical and visual media, incorporating elements of collage and photography for a distinct effect. This year however, we’ve taken a more abstract and striking approach, incorporating our colour scheme along with the bird imagery which is synonymous with the LJMU MA Short Film Festival.
If you check out our social media over the coming days, you’ll be seeing this new visual identity replace our previous branding.
